Epoxy resin for structural chemical anchoring
Make holes in the substrate with a drill, a hammer drill or a core drill. Clean the hole with hand tools, compressed air or by hydro-blasting. Extrude
MAPEFIX EP 100 epoxy resin at 50-60% of the hole’s volume, even in wet conditions. Insert the metal bar in the hole using a rotary movement to expel all the air until the excess resin comes out of the hole. Hold the coaxial position up to the final setting time of the resin. Place the metal plate in the beam-pillar junction, ensuring that the hole in the plate meet the previously anchored threaded metal bars. Screw nuts on the head of the previously anchored threaded bars and respect the necessary tightening torque.
