Screed

To create the screed: prepare levels and spread the mix by carefully tamping and floating the surface to obtain a better finish, after placing a compressible polyethylene strip along the entire perimeter and a separating layer such as a sheet of polyethylene over the entire surface.

Smoothing mortar

Level off the surface by applying the product with a long metal trowel or spreader to restore the substrate.

Waterproofer

MAPELASTIC AQUADEFENSE ZERO

Apply the product in two coats by long pile roller, brush or trowel for a total thickness of at least 0.8 mm.

Adhesive

ULTRALITE S1 FLEX ZERO

Apply the adhesive using the double-buttering technique with a notched trowel of a suitable size depending on the type and size of the tiles, so as to ensure an adequate wetting of the back of the tiles. While installing the tiles use levelling systems from the MAPELEVEL line to maintain the correct width for the grouts and to reduce lippage between adjacent tiles

Grout

KERAPOXY EASY DESIGN

When the adhesive has set, fill the joints in their whole depth with the selected grout using a rubber trowel, taking care not to leave gaps or steps. After grouting with epoxy mortars, clean while still wet with a damp cellulose sponge and, if necessary, use a pad (such as Scotch-Brite®). If needed carry out the final cleaning with ULTRACARE KERAPOXY CLEANER.

Sealant

MAPESIL AC ECO

Seal the perimeter joints after inserting MAPEFOAM to set the correct depth. and then finish off the surface of the sealant with ULTRACARE SMOOTH SILICONE.

Butyl band

MAPEBAND SA

Place the band on the joint taking care to remove the protective film and make the adhesive layer adhere uniformly to the substrate.
