Adhesion slurry

Prepare the adhesion slurry with synthetic rubber latex, water and cement at a 1:1:3 ratio to carry out cold joints for the creation of the adhesion screed.

Screed

Create the fresh on fresh screed on the concrete substrate through the adhesion slurry: prepare levels and spread the mix by carefully tamping and floating the surface to obtain a better finish.

Render NIVOPLAN + PLANICRETE

Apply the skimming mortar by trowel to regularize the wall.

Waterproofing MAPELASTIC ZERO - 1^st coat and – 2^nd coat

Apply the first coat of product using a notched trowel.

Apply the second coat of product using a smooth trowel to completely cover the reinforcing mesh. The final thickness must be at least 2 mm.

Unroll the mesh on the first coat of MAPELASTIC ZERO while still fresh.

Rubber band

Apply the flexible band for connections and joints on MAPELASTIC ZERO while still fresh.

Adhesive

KERAFLEX MAXI S1 ZERO

Apply the adhesive using the double buttering technique. Use a spreader with a notch size that guarantees optimum buttering of the back of the tile. While laying tiles, it is recommended to use levelling systems of MAPELEVEL range to maintain the correct size of grouts and reduce height unevenness between tiles.

Grout

ULTRACOLOR PLUS

When the adhesive has set, fill the joints in their whole depth with the selected grout using a rubber trowel, taking care not to leave gaps or steps. When the grout loses its plasticity, wash off the excess product with a damp hard cellulose sponge They may also be finished off while the product is partially hardened by going over the surface with a damp abrasive pad (such as a Scotch-Brite® pad). Remove any cementitious residues with ULTRACARE KERANET.

Sealant MAPEFOAM + MAPESIL AC ECO

Seal corners, edges and expansion joints after inserting MAPEFOAM to set the correct depth and then finish off the surface of the sealant with ULTRACARE SMOOTH SILICONE.
