Screed
Mix with 1 litre of water per bag and spread or pump with traditional screed machines. Ensure good compaction. CAM and EPD certified product, compatible with heated floors, fibre-reinforced, fast drying (4 days).
Apply the adhesive using the double-buttering technique with a notched trowel of a suitable size depending on the type and size of the tiles, so as to ensure an adequate wetting of the back of the tiles. While installing the tiles use levelling systems from the MAPELEVEL range to maintain the correct width for the grouts and to reduce lippage between adjacent tiles.
When the adhesive has set, fill the joints in their whole depth with the selected grout using a rubber trowel, taking care not to leave gaps or steps. When the grout loses its plasticity, wash off the excess product with a damp hard cellulose spongeThey may also be finished off while the product is partially hardened by going over the surface with a damp abrasive pad (such as a Scotch-Brite® pad). Remove any cementitious residues with ULTRACARE KERANET.
Seal perimeter and expansion joints after inserting MAPEFOAM to set the correct depth and then finish off the surface of the sealant with ULTRACARE SMOOTH SILICONE.
NOTES:
The choice of adhesive and covering varies according to type and format of tiles.
System to be applied by using MAPELEVEL levelling products.
For complete cleaning, maintenance and protection of the system use products from the ULTRACARE line.
