Planitop 13

Planitop 13 is a one-component, polymer-modified, fiber-enhanced, extended-working-time, cementitious repair mortar with corrosion inhibitor designed for vertical and overhead applications.

Mapefer 1K [NA] is a one-component, anti-corrosion coating based on unique polymers, cementitious binders and corrosion inhibitors. Mapefer 1K [NA] is specially formulated for application on properly prepared reinforcing steel to inhibit oxidation and rust formation. This product features a very low emission of volatile organic compounds and includes an offset of greenhouse gas emissions.

MapeWrap Primer 1

MapeWrap Primer 1 is a 100%-solids, moisture-tolerant, low-viscosity, two-component, epoxy resin that is used as a seal coat for consolidating and priming concrete substrates. As the first component of the MapeWrap composite system, MapeWrap Primer 1 penetrates cementitious pore structures and provides a high bond for the other system components.

MapeWrap 31

MapeWrap 31 is a 100%-solids, moisture-tolerant, medium-viscosity, epoxy resin for impregnating MapeWrap composite system fabrics by a dry layup method. MapeWrap 31 was specially developed to saturate and encapsulate carbon and glass fiber fabrics and to cure to a high-performance laminate. Once cured, MapeWrap 31 provides high mechanical strength properties.

MapeWrap 12

MapeWrap 12 is a two-component, 100%-solids, moisture-tolerant, structural epoxy used as an adhesive for the Carboplate composite system in warm climates. MapeWrap 12 is also used for leveling uneven concrete or masonry surfaces before application of MapeWrap fabrics or Carboplate and Maperod C laminates.

Carboplate E 170

Carboplate E 170 is a range of pultruded carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) plates designed for external structural strengthening of existing concrete, wood, masonry and steel members. Carboplate E 170 is externally bonded onto the surface of the substrate to strengthen and stiffen existing structures, using an epoxy resin specifically designed for the application. Carboplate E 170 is protected on both sides by a plastic film, eliminating the need for solvent cleaning of the plates before installation.

MapeWrap C Uni-Ax System

MapeWrap C Uni-Ax is a high-strength, uni-directional carbon fiber fabric that, when used with the MapeWrap family of two-component epoxy adhesives, forms an externally bonded fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) reinforcement system. MapeWrap C Uni-Ax fabric is part of an engineering solution that allows for an increase in the strength of structural elements without increasing the dead load supported by the structure. It is available in different weights (300, 600, 900 and 1200), each with different heights.

Mapeguard UM

Mapeguard UM is a premium-performance, lightweight, waterproofing and vapor-pressure-equalizing underlayment membrane that provides crack suppression for use under ceramic tile and stone installations, for both residential and commercial applications. It is designed to perform over challenging substrates, such as young concrete and single-layer 3/4" (19 mm) plywood subfloors with joist spacing of up to 19.2" (49 cm) on center or up to 24" (61 cm) on center with double-layer plywood subfloors. The unique engineered tri-layered design of Mapeguard UM absorbs lateral stress from the substrate without transferring this force to the tile or stone, which maintains exceptional bonds.

Planislope RS

Planislope RS is a rapid-setting, pre-blended, cement-based, polymer-modified mortar that includes a blend of select aggregates for use in sloping and thick-bed mortar installations. It only needs mixing with water to produce a mortar of exceptional strength. Used for preparing a substrate before the installation of tile and stone, Planislope RS is designed for pre-sloping under waterproofing membranes and mortar beds in showers when quick turnarounds are desired.

Kerabond/Keralastic System

Kerabond/Keralastic System is a high-performance, two-part system: Keralastic , a second-generation “flexible” acrylic latex additive, is used to enhance the performance of Kerabond , which is a premium-grade dry-set mortar. Ultraplan Lite

Ultraplan Lite is a polymer-modified, calcium-aluminate-based, lightweight, self-drying, self-leveling underlayment. It has been specifically designed for use for leveling substrates that are not rated to carry the full weight of a traditional self-leveling underlayment. Ultraplan Lite mixes easily and flows out to a suitable finish with a final dry density of about 67 lbs. per cu. ft. (1 073 kg per m 3 ) at 28 days.

MAPEI SM Primer

MAPEI SM Primer is a ready-to-use, fast-drying, water-based, latex primer for use under MAPEI’s peel-and-stick sheet membranes on residential and commercial indoor or outdoor floors. MAPEI SM Primer greatly increases the bond of MAPEI’s peel-and-stick sheet membranes to concrete, plywood and other approved, properly prepared floors. It can be applied with a roller or brush, is white in color and dries clear.

Mapeguard 2

Mapeguard 2 is a next-generation, flexible, thin, 40-mil (1-mm) lightweight, load-bearing, fabric-reinforced “peel-and-stick” crack-isolation, waterproofing and vapor-control membrane. Mapeguard 2 helps to prevent existing or future in-plane floor cracks (with movement up to 3/8" [10 mm] wide) from transmitting through grout, ceramic tile and natural stone. It also reduces the transmission of impact sound (footsteps, dropped objects, etc.) and airborne sound (voice, TV, etc.) through floors when installed under ceramic tile, stone or wood floor coverings.

Mapelastic AquaDefense

Mapelastic AquaDefense is a premixed, advanced liquid-rubber, extremely quick-drying waterproofing and crack-isolation membrane for installation under ceramic tile or stone in residential, commercial and industrial environments. Mapelastic AquaDefense provides a thin, continuous barrier to protect adjacent rooms and floors below from water damage. For common problem areas like coves, corners, cracks and drains, it can be combined with MAPEI’s optional Reinforcing Fabric or Mapeband ™ accessories (cove roll and drain flash) to provide additional protection. Mapelastic AquaDefense dries after about 30 to 50 minutes and is then ready to receive any MAPEI polymer or epoxy mortar. Mapelastic AquaDefense can be flood-tested after 12 hours of drying time, is IAPMO-listed for use as a shower-pan liner, and exceeds ANSI A118.10-LV and ANSI A118.12 standards.

Planitop 15

Planitop 15 is a one-component, shrinkage-compensated, cementitious, fiber-reinforced, fluid mortar. Planitop 15 contains a corrosion inhibitor and silica fume, and is well-suited for form-and-pour and form-and-pump applications where high early strength and flowability are required.

Primer SN [NA] is a two-component, filled, epoxy primer specifically designed to enhance adhesion of cementitious flooring systems and multilayer resin flooring, such as MAPEI’s Mapefloor products, Ultratop products, PlaniLevel products and Planitop EL multilayer epoxy resin flooring systems and multilayer traffic deck systems.

Mapefloor PU 400 FC

Structural and functional restoration of concrete elements and masonry, including those of historical interest, which have been damaged by inclement weather and natural causes. MapeWrap C FIOCCO, MapeWrap G FIOCCO and MapeWrap B FIOCCO are used as “structural connection” placed on the inside of old masonry to guarantee a better connection between the substrate (concrete, stone, bricks, wood, etc.) and the strengthening products with FRP and FRCM technology.

Mapegrid G 220

Alkali-Resistant, Glass Fiber Mesh for Structural Strengthening of Masonry Mapegrid G 220 is a square mesh made from primed, alkali-resistant (AR) glass fibers with a zirconium dioxide content of more than 16%. When applied on masonry structures, Mapegrid G 220 makes up for their lack of tensile strength and increases their overall ductility so that stresses are distributed more evenly. The system adheres perfectly to the substrate and its mechanical properties are such that localized stresses always provoke a failure in the substrate rather than at the substrate/strengthening system interface. In the case of strengthening applied to arched or vaulted elements, the masonry acquires the ability to resist tensile loads and inhibit the formation of plastic hinge points on the side opposite to where the strengthening package is applied.

Planibond EBA

High-Modulus Epoxy Bonding Agent Planibond EBA is a two-component, multipurpose, high-modulus epoxy bonding agent. Planibond EBA is nonshrink, 100%-solids and moisture-tolerant. Planibond EBA is used primarily as a bonding agent for screeds and repair mortars.

Planiseal MSP

Planiseal MSP is a two-coat, high-solids, polymer-based adhesive isolator, sealer, moisture-control membrane and self-leveling primer. Planiseal MSP protects flooring installations against subfloor moisture and pH in concrete slabs with moisture vapor emission rates (MVERs) up to 15 lbs. (6.80 kg) per ASTM F1869, relative humidity (RH) up to 99% per ASTM F2170 and alkalinity protection up to pH of 12. Planiseal MSP eliminates the need for a secondary primer for self-leveling applications.

It is formulated to cover industrial floors that are subject to heavy traffic flow, aggressive chemicals and thermal shock where a lightly textured surface is required, by applying at 1/4" to 3/8" (6 to 9 mm) in thickness. Mapefloor CPU/RT [NA] complies with standards applied in the food and beverage industries.

Ultrabond ECO 373 is a super aggressive, pressure-sensitive adhesive that is designed for the installation of a wide variety of resilient flooring types. Ultrabond ECO 373 has been specifically formulated to provide extended working time and can be applied using a trowel or roller, depending on the level of tack that is required for the flooring that is being installed. Ultrabond ECO 373 can also be used for flash-coving installations using traditional installation methods.

Keraflex Super is a highly versatile, nonsag/nonslump, large-and-heavy-tile mortar and thin-set mortar for tile and stone for installations on floors, walls and countertops. This polymer-modified mortar has a high content of a unique dry polymer, resulting in excellent adhesion to the substrate and tile, with enhanced resistance to freeze/thaw environments. This product features a very low emission of volatile organic compounds and includes an offset of greenhouse gas emissions. It is formulated with Easy Glide Technology™ for ease of application and with a consistency that allows adjustability when used with lippage control systems. Keraflex Super can also be used as a mortar over uncoupling, crack-isolation, sound-reduction and waterproofing membranes.

Mapedrain 30

High-Strength, High-Flow, Prefabricated Drainage Composite with Woven Filter Fabric Mapedrain 30 is a high-strength, three-dimensional drainage composite. It consists of a woven filter fabric bonded to individual dimples of a molded polypropylene core, minimizing fabric intrusion into the drainage channels caused by overburden pressure. The filter fabric allows water to pass freely into the drainage core, which provides hydrostatic relief while preventing the passage of soil or sand particles that might clog the core. Mapedrain 30 ’s woven, monofilament fabric withstands high abrasion from applied overburden and prevents intrusion into the drainage core due to its low elongation characteristics. As such, the woven fabric is better suited to receive direct poured concrete than nonwoven geotextile fabrics.

Ultraflex RS is a premium-grade, single-component, high-performance, polymer-modified, rapid-setting thin-set mortar for interior and exterior installations of tile. This mortar has a high content of unique dry polymer, resulting in excellent adhesion to the substrate and tile. Ultraflex RS is a FastTrack Ready ™ product, allowing grouting in 2 to 3 hours. It can be used for both interior and exterior installations of tile in most residential floor and wall applications. In commercial applications, use on interior floor and wall installations and exterior floors. Thanks to MAPEI’s High-Hydrated Cement Technology (HCT ™ ), Ultraflex RS offers superior drying-out characteristics for quick curing and does not contribute to efflorescence. Ultraflex RS meets or exceeds ANSI A118.4F, ANSI A118.11 and ANSI A118.15F requirements for fast-setting mortars when mixed with water.
