Mapei Marine will exhibit at Cruise Ship Interiors Expo in London from Wednesday 1^st to Thursday 2^nd – on stand 622. The Mapei Group’s subsidiary devoted to the ship building industry, will showcase its wide range of products and solutions with particularly stunning effects dedicated to the high-end cruise building industry. Thanks to intense work carried out in the Mapei Research & Development laboratories, Mapei Marine has managed to combine beauty and functionality to propose innovative solutions with cutting-edge technology, suitable for the interiors of ships.

And here are the solutions on display at Cruise Ship Interiors Expo:

MAPEDECK TEAK EVOLUTION a self-levelling resin providing a realistic wood-effect finish with all the advantages of synthetic teak-deck coverings in terms of costs and maintenance. It features excellent bonding and mechanical strength.

MAPEDECK TERRAZZO a system to create “terrazzo-alla-Veneziana” floorings, in such high demand to embellish interior settings. Applied over special epoxy base materials supplied by Mapei Marine to level off the installation surface, it has excellent resistance to wear and is easy to clean using products from the Mapei Ultracare line.

MAPEDECK MIRUM a two-component, aliphatic polyurethane resin-based formulation developed in the Mapei R&D laboratories, is used as a final coating to form highly attractive finishes on internal and external horizontal and vertical surfaces on ships and yachts. It is available in an infinite array of textured finishes: from the most minimal to the most materic textures.

MAPEDECK MONODESIGN is ideal for creating decorative coatings with a materic effect on internal floors and walls. Extremely versatile, very easy to apply and non-yellowing, it has excellent resistance to abrasion which makes it suitable for use on floors subjected to intense foot traffic. It is available in a wide range of colours which may be further enhanced by using Mapedeck Finish HDT, the ideal product to create decorative finishes of the highest quality.
