Mapei at Marmomac 2022

Mapei is back at MARMOMAC, the most important trade-fair in the world dedicated to marble and the entire stone production industry, in the beautiful surroundings of Verona from 27^th to 30^th September. A wide-ranging event featuring international participants and the presentation of cultural projects and cutting-edge exhibitions.

Mapei will be at the trade-fair on stand E2 in hall 7 with its portfolio of innovative and sustainable solutions. The solutions for stone and architectural paving will be the stars of the show.

Natural fibres for MAPESTONE GR-ECO mortar

The iconic Mapestone family of mortars and grouts is now joined by the sustainable alternative Mapestone GR-ECO, made from natural vegetable fibres (made from apple waste) and mineral aggregates for architectural paving with filtering and self-generating properties.
With zero cement and lime content, Mapestone Gr-Eco helps reduce CO₂ emissions by 95% compared with traditional grouts.

Thanks to its innovative formulation, landscape architects looking to create architectural stone paving in harmony with nature now have the possibility of using a totally compatible and highly qualified product which, at the same time, is a friend of the planet.

Lime and recycled material for MAPESTONE CALCIX

The Mapestone Calcix system, made from natural hydraulic lime and containing a high percentage of recycled materials, is designed for refurbishing and renovating stone paving, including paving of historical interest. It is recommended for the construction of pavements, piazzas and roads not subjected to heavy traffic, including those in areas at risk of being saturated by water.

Complete systems for marble and natural stone

Mapei proposes various installation adhesives and grouts to cover every type of material and every type of use. Highly-qualified adhesives and high-technology grouts for long-lasting installation work to the highest standard. To support the various installation systems there are also waterproofing products, anti-fracture membranes and dedicated solutions for installing stone on heated screeds.

ULTRACARE for safe maintenance of surfaces

To take care of delicate surfaces in marble and natural stone, Mapei has developed a complete family of solutions for cleaning, maintaining and protecting surfaces: UltraCare, a range of 21 products to help maintain the performance properties of materials and preserve their natural beauty.

Product demonstrations will certainly not be missing. Thanks to the experience of engineers and installers from the Technical Services Division, visitors will be able to watch true-to-life applications and tests and get to know more about the advantages of Mapei solutions.

Official presentation of our Technical Manual

From the collaboration between Mapei and the Order of Architects, the Consorzio Marmisti Veronesi (AS.MA.VE., or Verona Marble Consortium) and other companies from the sector, comes the Technical Manual on how to install natural stone. It will be presented on Wednesday, 28^th September as part of the AS.MA.VE. Academy: Etica e Tecnica meeting in Pavilion 6 at stand 6 “La Piazza” of the Verona Stone District, with Marco Albelice from Mapei Technical Services and Grazia Signori from the Architectural Stone Paving Line participating at the event.
