Zero Line: new products with fully-offset CO2 emissions
Continuing along the journey towards sustainability undertaken so many years ago, Mapei extends the Zero Line, first introduced in March 2023. Initially made up of products for ceramics and the building sector, the range has now been extended with the addition of new products, including waterproofers, adhesives and products for the care and maintenance of surfaces, with CO2 emissions fully offset throughout their entire life cycle (1). The aim is to offer clients, designers and professionals the opportunity to choose to construct responsibly using high performance products with fully offsetCO2 emissions designed to last.
Mapestone Gr-Eco: mortars with natural fibres for architectural paving
To meet the needs of the more responsible designers interested in environmental issues, Mapei has developed the Mapestone Gr-Eco line. Made from natural fibres of vegetable origin and completely cement and lime-free, Mapestone Gr-Eco, Mapestone Gr-Eco Fill and Mapestone GR7 are recommended for creating architectural paving with filtering properties, which may also be used for stone paving in pedestrian zones or paving used by light vehicles in classes P4, P5 and P6 according to Italian standard UNI 11714-1:2018.
UltraCare: 4 new products to complete the portfolio dedicated to cleaning surfaces
Mapei extends its UltraCare range of dedicated products for protecting, maintaining and caring for surfaces with the introduction 2 cleaners to remove rust and organic stains and 2 protective treatments against water infiltrations with a solvent-based version and a water-based version, to offer installation companies a safer application experience and long-lasting results.
Mapei at Marmomac Meets Academies 2023
From the synergy of Italian excellence between Mapei, Stilmarmo and the Polytechnic of Bari comes a collection of design creations in stone, protagonists of the Marmomac Meets Academies 2023 exhibition in Pavilion 10, curated by Professor Giuseppe Fallacara. Mapei’s contribution to the project has been different and specific on every occasion, according to the type of work to be carried out.
Presentation of the porphyry installation guide book
On Tuesday, 26th September at 5 pm in the Cinema Area located in Pavilion 1, Grazia Signori, geologist and Mapei product specialist for the architectural stone paving line, will present “PORPHYRY. Technical guide to a noble stone”, co-authored with Andrea Angheben. The publication is the only international reference guide for the use and correct installation of porphyry.
