Mapei, leader in the production of chemical products for the building industry, continues to grow in the world of motorsport. After working on racetracks for car and motorbike races of international importance such as the Baku City Circuit and the Petronas Sepang International Circuit, the Italian company took part in the renovation of the Misano Adriatico track, taking care of the kerbs and run off areas, also in terms of colours and graphics.

The Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli is therefore getting a makeover to host the upcoming events. The kerbs of the track and the external areas were covered with Mapecoat TNS Race Track system, Mapei's acrylic waterborne, rapid film-forming coloured coating.

The formulation of Mapecoat TNS Race Track meets all the approval and safety standards required by the FIA (Federation Internationale de l'Automobile) and FIM (Fédératon Internationale de Motocyclisme) for products necessary to mark out road surfaces of motor racing circuits. With this technology, the treated surfaces are long-lasting, slip-resistant and able to maintain their surface roughness over time even in wet conditions. Thanks to the ColorMap tinting system, the wide range of available colours makes it possible to meet all colour requirements.

Mapei's growing work in the world of motorsport is a unique opportunity to demonstrate the quality of its products. The commitment to renovating the Misano Adriatico circuit underlines the Italian company's ability to adapt to the specific needs of each project, guaranteeing safety, durability and optimum performance, working for sustainable mobility even in the world of sport.
