The Re Stelvio Mapei 2025 edition is set to be one to remember, as it prepares to celebrate a historic triple anniversary. On Sunday 13 July, athletes and enthusiasts of cycling and running  will gather in Bormio to tackle the iconic climb to the Stelvio Pass, in an event that marks its 40th anniversary, 20 years of partnership with Mapei and 200 years since the opening of the Stelvio road.

First held 40 years ago in 1985, the event has become a must-attend for sports and mountain lovers, attracting participants from all over the world eager to test themselves on a 21-kilometre route with an altitude difference of 1,533 metres, immersed in one of the most stunning Alpine landscapes.

The rich program of the Re Stelvio Mapei will kick off at 8.50 a.m. with the non-competitive cycling rally for pedal-assisted bikes, under the slogan '+ STELVIO x TUTTI (“More Stelvio for Everyone”). At 9.00 a.m., the 21 km road race for Fidal members and Promotions Bodies will begin, followed by the running race open to all. The competitive cycling races will begin with the women's categories at 9.15 a.m. followed by the men's at 9.30 a.m. Following this, the Mapei Memorial Aldo Sassi Cycloraduno will offer members and non-members the opportunity to ride alongside figures from the world of sport.

The Re Stelvio Mapei is much more than a competition; it is a day that celebrates the values that Mapei has always shared with the world of sport: passion, hard work, dedication and teamwork. The same principles that have guided Mapei throughout its industrial success and that continue to inspire athletes as they tackle the legendary switchbacks of the Stelvio.

This special edition also provides Mapei with an opportunity to reaffirm its long-standing commitment to cycling., The Milan-based company has been involved in the sport for over 30 years, and will once again be the UCI's Main Partner at the Road Cycling World Championships, which will take place in Kigali, Rwanda, from 21 to 28 September.
