Mapecrete System

The ideal solution for shrinkage-compensated concrete industrial flooring without control joints.

Ideal for refurbishment work and new industrial flooring

rapid installation

eliminates the need for check joints

possible to eliminate metal mesh

Mapecrete System is the ideal solution for creating concrete industrial flooring without control joints. The combination of products in the system induces expansion in the concrete to compensate for hygrometric shrinkage triggered at the end of the damp curing phase.

This shrinkage-compensating property means that areas of up to 1.000 m2 or higher can be installed without having to include control joints.

For a free structural check of flooring, or if you require further information, contact Mapei Technical Services for a dedicated technical report so they can advise the correct amount of admixture and fibres and calculate the correct joint spacing distance in the flooring.

Mapecrete System is a complete Mapei system that includes one of the super-plasticising admixtures from the Dynamon Line, one expansive agent of the Expancrete Line, one shrinkage reducer of the Mapecure SRA Line and synthetic structural fibres from the Mapefibre Line.

Mapecrete System may be used in various types of construction, including those with structural characteristics, and is ideal for:

  • Industrial flooring
  • Multi-storey car parks
  • Prefabricated concrete structures
  • Decks and piles for industrial viaducts
  • Floor slabs for viaducts
  • Hydraulic structures
  • Lanes for automated forklifts
