MAPEPROOF FBH is a waterproof membrane fully-bonded to placed concrete. It consists of a synthetic membrane in HDPE sandwiched to non-woven fabric in polypropylene which, once concrete has been placed, forms a monolithic bond with the concrete and remains perfectly bonded over time.

This type of bond prevents water migrating laterally between the foundations and the membrane. MAPEPROOF FBH also forms a highly effective barrier against groundwater, moisture in the ground, radon and methane.

MAPEPROOF FBH system is completed with a series of accessory application products such as MAPEPROOF FBT TAPE 600 and MAPEPROOF LIQUID MEMBRANE. To provide continuity to waterproofing applied on vertical walls, it is possible to apply MAPEPROOF AL 1200 AP self-adhesive membrane in HDPE or MAPEPROOF SA waterproofing membrane made from a robust film of cross-weave high-density polyethylene (HDPE), or a MAPETHENE HT or MAPETHENE LT self-adhesive membrane.

Using this system enables an effective, fully–bonded waterproofing membrane to be created both before and after placing concrete for foundations.

MAPEPROOF FBH system is highly versatile. It may be used to waterproof any type of foundation and by any specialised waterproofing contractor with experience of other types waterproofing systems for foundations.
