Existing cementitious structure

Regularisation with mortar from MAPEGROUT range

Regularise the substrate using a suitable mortar from the MAPEGROUT range.

tape MAPEBAND TPE + ADESILEX PG4 + QUARZO 0,25 - 0,5 - 0,9 - 1,2 - 1,9

Apply the elastic tape on connection joints while the epoxy adhesive layer is still fresh, the apply a second coat of product and broadcast with QUARTZ 0.5.

Existing masonry

Natural hydraulic lime based fibre-reinforced mortar MAPEWALL RENDER & STRENGTHEN 10 or MAPEWALL RENDER & STRENGTHEN

Apply the render by trowel or rendering machine in a first coat 1.5 cm thick.

Alkali resistant glass fibre mesh CRM SYSTEM - MAPENET EM30 or CRM SYSTEM - MAPENET EM40 or CRM SYSTEM - MAPENET EMR 33 / CRM SYSTEM - MAPENET EMR 66 / CRM SYSTEM - MAPENET EMR 99

Place the structural mesh paying attention to the previously installed connectors and press it with a metal smooth trowel do that it adheres to the structural render. Create overlaps of at least 15 cm.

Glass fibre connector MAPENET EM CONNECTOR or MAPENET EMR CONNECTOR

Place connectors in the previously drilled holes using MAPEFIX VE SF.

Apply the render by trowel or rendering machine in a second coat 1.5 cm thick.

Two coats of waterproofer

Apply two coats of product by roller for a total thickness of at least 2 mm.

Uncoupling polyethylene sheet

Cementitious screed

TOPCEM PRONTO

To create the screed prepare levels and spread the mix by carefully tamping and floating the surface to obtain a better finish. The thickness of isolating screeds must be at least 3.5 cm.

Breathable scratch coat

Apply the scratch coat by trowel or rendering machine to completely cover the substrate at a 0.5 cm thickness.

Macro-porous dehumidifying render

POROMAP DEUMIDIFICANTE

Apply the render by trowel or rendering machine in one coat at least 1 cm thick.

Breathable finish

POROMAP FINITURA CIVILE

Apply the skimcoat with a smooth metal trowel at 2 mm thickness per coat.

Adhesive

KERAFLEX MAXI S1 ZERO

Apply the adhesive using the double-buttering technique with a notched trowel of a suitable size depending on the type and size of the tiles, so as to ensure an adequate wetting of the back of the tiles. While installing the tiles use levelling systems from the MAPELEVEL line to maintain the correct width for the grouts and to reduce lippage between adjacent tiles.

ULTRACOLOR PLUS

When the adhesive has set, fill the joints in their whole depth with the selected grout using a rubber trowel, taking care not to leave gaps or steps. When the grout loses its plasticity, wash off the excess product with a damp hard cellulose sponge They may also be finished off while the product is partially hardened by going over the surface with a damp abrasive pad (such as a Scotch-Brite® pad). Remove any cementitious residues with ULTRACARE KERANET.

Siloxane primer

Apply the primer by brush, roller or spray.

Siloxane paint

SILANCOLOR PITTURA ZERO

Once the primer is dry apply the paint with a brush, roller or spray. 2 coats are required to ensure complete, effective hiding.
