Spots and beads application of ULTRALITE S1 FLEX ZERO adhesive on the multipurpose waterproofing panel MAPEGUARD BOARD. Cut the panel to the desired size with a standard cutter and then bond it directly to the substrate by applying the adhesive in beads and spots.

ULTRALITE S1 FLEX ZERO

Apply the adhesive using the double buttering technique. Use a spreader with a notch size that guarantees optimum buttering of the back of the tile. While laying tiles, it is recommended to use levelling systems of MAPELEVEL range to maintain the correct size of grouts and reduce height unevenness between tiles.

KERAPOXY EASY DESIGN

When the adhesive has set, fill the joints in their whole depth with the selected grout using a rubber trowel, taking care not to leave gaps or steps. After grouting with epoxy mortars, clean while still wet with a damp cellulose sponge and, if necessary, use a pad (such as Scotch-Brite®). If needed carry out the final cleaning with ULTRACARE KERAPOXY CLEANER.

Cut the panel to size using a cutter and apply on the fresh adhesive.

Waterproofing multipurpose panels MAPEGUARD BOARD assembled using MAPEFLEX MS 45 hybrid sealant and ULTRALITE S1 FLEX ZERO adhesive. To assemble the panels used to create shower walls, apply the hybrid sealant on the panels’ edges and the adhesive on their overlapping surfaces.

Apply the adhesive using a brush, a 3 mm notched trowel or a roller for bonding waterproofing elements.

Seal joints between panels using the waterproofing tape and seal all difficult spots (corners, edges, through-elements) using the suitable accessories from Mapeguard system (Mapeguard IC, Mapeguard EC, Mapeguard PC, Mapeguard DH-R / Mapeguard DH-L).

Waterproof multipurpose panels MAPEGUARD BOARD assembled with hybrid sealant MAPEFLEX MS 45

Waterproof multipurpose MAPEGUARD BOARD panels assembled with MAPEFLEX MS 45 hybrid sealant. Cut the panels to the size required with a cutter. Holes and openings for through elements may be created using a drill with a hole-saw bit or with a reciprocating saw. To assemble panels used to create decorations and furniture fittings apply the hybrid sealant on the edges of panels and use a mechanical anchor.
