Old cracked thermal insulation

Acrylic primer
Apply a coat of undercoat with a brush, roller or by spray on the clean, dry substrate.

Elastic skimming mortar
Apply a first layer of skimming mortar with a notched trowel.

Glass fibre mesh
Place the reinforcing mesh on the first layer of skimming mortar while still fresh, overlapping adjacent pieces of mesh by at least 10 cm.

Elastic skimming mortar
Apply a second layer of skimming mortar with a stainless steel trowel to completely embed the mesh.

Elastomeric coating
Apply one or two coats of finish, according to the texture of the surface, with a stainless steel trowel.
Finish off the surface with a sponge or plastic float.
