Application steps

1
Render with removal of existing paint
Remove the paint from the substrate down to the level of the existing render.

Ready-to-use, water-based, one-component adhesive in polyurethane dispersion MAPEWRAP EQ ADHESIVE
Apply a first, even layer with a brush or roller.

Primed glass-fibre bi-directional fabric MAPEWRAP EQ NET
Place the fabric in position, making sure there are no creases by going over the surface with a MapeWrap Roller, so that the adhesive completely penetrates through the fibres of the fabric.

Ready-to-use, water-based, one-component adhesive MAPEWRAP EQ ADHESIVE
Apply the second coat while the first coat is still fresh. Use a MapeWrap Roller to remove any air bubbles.

Cementitious skimming mortar
Apply and spread the skimming mortar with a smooth metal trowel.

Acrylic primer
Apply the product with a brush or roller to even out the surface and to promote adhesion of the successive coat of paint.
7
Washable, hiding, water-based wall paint
Once the primer is dry, apply at least 2 coats of paint with a brush or roller to completely cover the surface.
