Application steps

Concrete
Completely remove all the areas of concrete at risk of becoming detached by mechanical means and remove all rust from the steel reinforcement.

Repairing mortar
Apply the fine-textured mortar for restoring concrete with a trowel; no formwork required.

External sacrificial anode

Elastic sealant PRIMER FD + MAPEFLEX MS45
Seal the terminals of the plate and any joints after treating the edges with PRIMER FD.

Cementitious skimming mortar
Apply two coats of skimming compound with a metal trowel with the alkali-resistant glass fibre mesh embedded between the 1st and 2nd coat.

Glass fibre mesh
Apply two coats of skimming compound with a metal trowel with the alkali-resistant glass fibre mesh embedded between the 1st and 2nd coat.

Skimming mortar
Apply two coats of skimming compound with a metal trowel with the alkali-resistant glass fibre mesh embedded between the 1st and 2nd coat.

Acrylic primer
Apply the product with a brush or roller to even out the surface and promote adhesion of the successive coat of paint.

Hygienising, crack-bridging elastomeric paint
Once the primer is dry, apply 2 coats of paint with a brush or roller to completely cover the surface.
