Waterproofing cementitious mortar (2 coats)

Apply the product by roller in two coats for a total thickness of at least 2 mm.

Chemical anchor for structural loads

Fasten in the existing structure using suitable metal connectors.

Bentonite sheet

Spread the bentonite sheet on the whole horizontal surface to cover the previously applied MAPELASTIC FOUNDATION. Overlap the adjacent sheets longitudinally and join them with nails and MAPEPROOF CD washers.

Bentonite paste

MAPEPROOF MASTIC

Apply the bentonite paste by trowel or spreader on all passing through metal elements.

Hydro-expanding bentonite joint

Apply the hydro-expanding acrylic profile at midpoint of cold joints.

Hydro-expanding bentonite sealant in paste

Seal the repair or the pipe extruding the product using a sealant cartridge.

Repair mortar

Apply the fine grain mortar by trowel or spreader with no need for formwork for restoring concrete.

Elastomeric paint

ELASTOCOLOR PITTURA ZERO

Once the substrate is dry apply the paint with a brush, roller or spray. 2 coats are required to ensure complete, effective hiding.

Adhesive

KERAFLEX MAXI S1 ZERO

Apply the adhesive using the double-buttering technique with a notched trowel of a suitable size depending on the type and size of the tiles, so as to ensure an adequate wetting of the back of the tiles. While installing the tiles use levelling systems from the MAPELEVEL line to maintain the correct width for the grouts and to reduce lippage between adjacent tiles.

Grout

ULTRACOLOR PLUS

When the adhesive has set, fill the joints in their whole depth with the selected grout using a rubber trowel, taking care not to leave gaps or steps. When the grout loses its plasticity, wash off the excess product with a damp hard cellulose sponge They may also be finished off while the product is partially hardened by going over the surface with a damp abrasive pad (such as a Scotch-Brite® pad). Remove any cementitious residues with ULTRACARE KERANET.
