Concrete substrate CALCESTRUZZO VAGA RCK 37

Mix with 1.5 litres of water per bag, spread or pump with traditional concrete machines, vibrate. CAM and EPD certified product, with structural fibres, indispensable in all those situations where it is not possible to use a concrete mixer.

Place tiles with the fibre layer (light-coloured) facing down, taking care in joining their side together.

Soundproofing tape

MAPESILENT TAPE

Seal the joints between adjacent tiles using a suitable soundproofing tape pressed with a rigid roller.

Soundproofing band

Apply the soundproofing band at the base of perimeter walls and any elements passing through the screed.

Create the sloping screed: prepare levels and spread the mix by carefully tamping and floating the surface to obtain a better finish.

Floor drain

DRAIN VERTICAL

Insert the floor drain in the draining pipe and press the drain fabric cover on MAPELASTIC TURBO ZERO using a smooth trowel.

Cementitious waterproofer

MAPELASTIC TURBO ZERO

Apply the first coat of product using a notched trowel. Apply the second coat of product using a smooth trowel to completely cover the reinforcing mesh. The final thickness must be maximum 2 mm.

Polypropylene TNT

MAPETEX SEL N

Place the reinforcing mesh on the first coat of MAPELASTIC TURBO ZERO while still fresh and finish using the smooth side of the trowel.

Rubber tape

MAPEBAND EASY

Apply the elastic tape for connections and joints using MAPELASTIC TURBO ZERO.

Adhesive

KERAFLEX MAXI S1 ZERO

Apply the adhesive using the double buttering technique. Use a spreader with a notch size that guarantees optimum buttering of the back of the tile. While laying tiles, it is recommended to use levelling systems of MAPELEVEL range to maintain the correct size of grouts and reduce height unevenness between tiles.

ULTRACOLOR PLUS

When the adhesive has set, fill the joints in their whole depth with the selected grout using a rubber trowel, taking care not to leave gaps or steps. When the grout loses its plasticity, wash off the excess product with a damp hard cellulose spongeThey may also be finished off while the product is partially hardened by going over the surface with a damp abrasive pad (such as a Scotch-Brite® pad). Remove any cementitious residues with ULTRACARE KERANET.

Sealant

MAPESIL AC ECO

Seal perimeter joints after inserting MAPEFOAM to set the correct depth and then finish off the surface of the sealant with ULTRACARE SMOOTH SILICONE.
