Mapeplast KB-1200 (formerly Polychem KB-1200) is used in all concrete where ease of placement, normal set times and increased workability are desired. Used in all flatwork, curb mixes and walls, Mapeplast KB-1200 is compatible with a wide range of cements, fly ashes and aggregates. Mapeplast KB-1200 provides concrete with lower permeability, little or no bleeding, and greater workability at the surface. Mapeplast KB-1200 does not contain calcium chloride.

How much water do I need in my concrete mixture?

ACI provides guidelines as suggestions or recommendations on the water content to provide the desired compressive strength. Never add more water than what is necessary to provide the desired workability. More water equals lowered strength.
