Existing reinforced concrete structure.

Epoxy primer

MAPEWRAP PRIMER 1

Apply the two-component epoxy primer on the surface to be reinforced.

Epoxy grout MAPEWRAP 11 / MAPEWRAP 12

Spread an even layer of two-component epoxy grout, 1 to 1.5 mm thick, on the fresh primer, using a trowel.

Impregnating epoxy adhesive

Apply a coat of fluid epoxy resin to embed fabrics on the epoxy grout while still fresh.

Quadri-directional carbon fibre fabric

MAPEWRAP C QUADRI-AX

Cut the fabric to the desired length and place it on the centre panel impregnating it with MAPEWRAP 31.

Uni-directional carbon fibre fabric

MAPEWRAP C UNI-AX

Wrap unidirectional carbon fibre fabric around the end portions of the beams and the pillar converging at the node. The fabric must be applied in the form of a closed ring, ensuring that the annular bands overlap by 5 cm vertically and 20 cm horizontally.

Epoxy impregnator

Apply a second coat of epoxy grout on the installed fabrics.

Quartz sand

QUARZO 0,25 - 0,5 - 0,9 - 1,2 - 1,9

Broadcast the resin while still fresh with dry quartz QUARTZ 1,2 sand.

Skimming mortar

Apply the skimming mortar by flat metal trowel at a maximum thickness of 3 mm.

Acrylic basecoat

QUARZOLITE BASE COAT

Apply by brush, roller or spray (no airless).

Elastomeric coating

ELASTOCOLOR TONACHINO PLUS

Apply the finish coating by stainless steel trowel in one or two coats. Finish off with plastic or sponge float.
