A Mapei floor preparation project has been completed at Kangaroo Works – a build-to-rent residential scheme in the heart of Sheffield.
Mapei products were used to prepare concrete subfloors throughout the development’s North and South blocks, prior to the installation of LVT, carpet and carpet tiles. Following removal of residue, two coats of Mapeproof Primer – a rapid drying PVDC based dispersion primer – were applied to suppress residual moisture and allow fast-track installation of the resilient floor finishes. Within 12 hours of curing, Mapei Latexplan Trade levelling and smoothing compound was then applied, levelling surface differences from 1-10mm prior to the floor application. |
