Which grout is recommended with glossy wall tile?

MAPEI's Keracolor U grout is unsanded. So, it's a great choice for grouting most installations of glossy wall tile. Other good options are Ultracolor Plus FA grout and Ultracolor Plus Max grout. When grouting installations of antique or handmade wall tile, it is recommended to build a mockup (sample board) or, at the very least, test these products in an inconspicuous area before grouting.

Which grout is recommended for grouting pebble tile?

MAPEI's Ultracolor Plus FA and Ultracolor Plus Max grouts are a great choice for grouting installations of pebble stone and river-rock mosaics.

Which grout is recommended for exterior installations?

MAPEI's Keracolor S Sanded Grout, Keracolor U Unsanded Grout, MAPEI Flexcolor CQ, Kerapoxy CQ, Ultracolor Plus FA and Ultracolor Plus Max grouts are all recommended for use outside in uncovered, exterior areas.

Which grout can be used in a pool?

MAPEI's Kerapoxy CQ, Ultracolor Plus FA and Ultracolor Plus Max grouts are great choices for pool installations and other submerged applications.

Why did my grout dry lighter than the color I purchased?

There can be different explanations of why this happened. The grout may have been washed too soon or too much during the cleaning process, causing pigment to be removed from the grout. Or, the grout powder may not have been dry-blended before mixing in order to avoid color variation.

How soon can I use my shower after grouting?

24 to 48 hours

Why does Ultracolor Plus FA sometimes bleed and come out when I rub my finger on it?

This indicates that too much water may have been used either in the mix or the cleaning process.

Can I mix a small amount of Ultracolor Plus FA?

Yes, it is important to dry blend the bag first prior to mixing small batches. Small batch mixing ratio is 3:1 powder to water.

Yes, but keep in mind Ultracolor Plus FA has fine sand in it, so you may want to perform a mockup first to make sure it doesn’t scratch the tile.
