Mapei consolidates their close bond with the world of sport by sponsoring the 2020 edition of the Coppa Italia Women’s Volleyball finals
Mapei sponsored the Coppa Italia Women’s Volleyball finals held this weekend at the PalaYamamay Arena in Busto Arsizio.
Mapei’s commitment to volleyball started in 2017 when, to celebrate the company’s 80th anniversary, it sponsored the women’s volleyball competition between the 4 best teams from the A1 women’s league for the first time.
RAI Sport HD broadcasted live coverage of the A1 semi-final games played on Saturday 1st February and the A1 league final played on Sunday 2nd February after the A2 league final.
Through this initiative Mapei has consolidated its bond with the world of sport. The company has always had this close bond with sport, which all started with their sponsorship of the professional cycling team, for years at the top of the most important international tables, followed by their backing of the Sassuolo Calcio football team, an example of excellence on the Italian football scene.
Mapei also sponsors numerous other sporting events, first and foremost the UCI Road World Championship through its partnership with the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale).
